woodland - our beautiful house is a secluded luxury home ready to welcome
you to enjoy the breath taking beauty of the Adirondacks. This is the
perfect house in a great location - allowing you to spend your vacation as
you wish - whether exercise, sport or relaxation, family holidays/ reunions
or just a get away with friends - Sequettes End will give you a perfect base
to enjoy and create memories of a life time.
Sequettes End allows up to 12 people to enjoy a vacation in the height of
luxury. The decor, furniture and fittings in the house are all to the
highest standard - you will simply not want to leave!
*Fully Equipped Kitchen - with professional stove, microwave, mixers, coffee
maker, large range of pots, pans and dishes: complete with condiments and
cooking utensils allowing you to choose from gourmet cuisine or BBQs in the
garden! Includes a breakfast bar and table. We have a large number of
cookery books for you to browse through if the mood takes you!
* Dining Room - for the cooler evenings, a charming room with Adirondack
furniture - situated next to the kitchen.
* The "3 seasons lounge" - comes into its own in the spring, summer and
autumn. During the day you can sit in the cool of the room and enjoy the
view (or keep an eye on the kids enjoying the garden). On summer evenings
this is the place to eat dinner - in the cool evening air enjoying the
sounds of the woods without the bugs! In the winter its a great place to
keep the skis and snow boots overnight.
*The lounge - has beautiful views and a large open fireplace. While
collapsing on the comfy sofas you can enjoy the TV, cable, a selection of
DVDs or music system (including CD player and mp3 compatible). In the winter
there is an open fire and we keep a stock of wood in the garage for you to
use.
* The Study - allows you to keep in contact with the world (if you want to)
fax and printer (paper may be required) and local phone. The whole house has
wireless internet access.
* Bedrooms - All of them have comfortable proper beds (not a camp or sofa
bed in sight!) and are good sizes.
Bedroom 1 and the en-suite bathroom are the epitome of luxury - King size
bed, walk in wardrobe, doors leading onto a private patio (and down to the
pool), a sunken bath/jacuzzi and steam shower allowing you sooth your aching
bones after a long day of skiing, walking, swimming or sun bathing!
Bedrooms 2 and 3 both have double beds and built in wardrobe, bedroom 4 has
2 single beds - these rooms share a "jack and Jill" type bathroom (2
separate WCs with shared bath/shower).
Bedroom 5 has a double bed and Bedroom 6 has 2 single beds both with built
in wardrobes. They share a bathroom with bath/shower.
*Den - there is a fully equipped multi gym, exercise bike, climber and
walker. For the less active among you there is a TV and Video player plus
lots of board games, cards. Throughout the house you will find books to curl
up and read in front of the fire or by the pool!
* Utility room - equipped with washer, dryer, iron and iron board.
* The Garage - large double garage with electronic up and over doors.
Suitable for 2 large SUV (or similar). In the garage you will find BBQs,
chairs & tables for the pool. There is also a full size fridge/freezer which
can be used in addition to the one in the kitchen.
Other than the 3 seasons lounge, the house is fully heated and with air
conditioning. (The 3 seasons lounge has fans for the heat of the summer
months).
*The Garden - in the Spring, Summer and Autumn the garden comes into its
own. Totally private with a couple of large grass area for games, a
children's climbing frame (with slide and swings), natural pond and a fenced
off heated pool (open June - September). The pool is surrounded on all sides
by a patio area and in the summer there is a range of loungers, chairs,
tables (with some umbrellas) available for use - allowing you to soak up the
sun or relax in the shade enjoying the tranquility of the Adirondacks
woodlands.
A few minutes walk from Loon lake public beach/ boat access,15 minutes from
Gore Mountain (down hill skiing), 15 minutes from Bolton's landing (on Lake
George). Many local attractions all within a short distance (horse riding
and winter skidoo within 3 minutes walk!). Chestertown is only 5 minutes
away with shops and a number of good restaurants.

your rental fee. We do ask that you leave the house tidy and if linen has
been provided that the beds are stripped. If you have rearranged any

A percentage of the agreed rent
will be required with the final payment. This will be returned in full

Sequettes End is available for
weekends, long weekends, weeks and longer.
Standard rates are:
Winter weekend - $1,500 [Columbus Day thru' Memorial Day]
Summer week - $1,900.
Please email for rates for different lengths of stay. Please note that
Federal Holiday weekend rates can be higher. Please contact us for details.
A contract will be required to be returned with the deposit. |
